Simon Andreassen wins in Marseille with a prototype FOX fork
Aside from the Cape Epic, which is currently capturing much of the mountain bike attention, XCO continues its season start with important races such as the one held today in Marseille, home of the French Cup. There, Danish Simon Andreassen and Swedish Jenny Rissveds claimed victory in a highly competitive race against strong competitors like Mathis Azzaro, Maximilian Brandl in the men's category, and Martina Berta Ronja Eibl in the women's category.
This marks the first victory for the new Orbea FOX Factory Team and on Andreassen's Oiz, we were able to see a prototype of what appears to be a new FOX fork.

Danish rider Andreassen has been one of the star signings for the new Orbea Factory Team for 2025, but his season start was disrupted by a hard fall in La Nucía that resulted in a concussion. Now, he seems fully recovered and has demonstrated this with a convincing victory in Marseille, crossing the finish line almost half a minute ahead of Mathis Azzaro.

Andreassen seems to have adapted well and quickly to his new Orbea Oiz, with which he has been competing in several races, but this is the first time we have seen him using a FOX fork with the RAD logo that identifies the brand's prototypes.
This is not the first time we have seen this fork in a race, we saw it last year on the bikes of Dario Lillo and Luca Martin, but now it sports the characteristic orange color of FOX and could indicate that its final version is closer than ever.

With no more information than these images, we can only speculate that it could be a fork with 34mm stanchions and lighter than the current one if we look at its new bridge with holes.
We will be keeping an eye out, as surely in the coming weeks we will have more information or images of this fork.
