Shimano launches its new XTR M9200 wheels: lightweight and durable carbon for XC and Enduro
In its new XTR M9200 group, Shimano includes a new set of carbon wheels for MTB, an ultralight model oriented towards cross-country and a more robust one for trail and enduro. Both have been redesigned incorporating key improvements in hubs, bearings, and sealing.
New Shimano XTR M9200 wheels and hubs for XCO and Enduro
These new XTR M9200 wheels focus on maximizing performance and durability without compromising ease of maintenance. With a competition-oriented design, the WH-M9200 and WH-M9220 models adapt to the most demanding needs. The rim is made entirely of carbon with titanium spokes for XCO and steel for Enduro, has a generous internal width (30mm for enduro and 29.6 for XC) with a hookless design and is compatible with MICRO SPLINE hubs and CENTERLOCK discs.
