Shimano GRX Limited Edition Pedals

Inspired by their popular XT pedals, the new Shimano GRX pedals arrive, in which the Japanese brand applies its United in Gravel design to give a touch of distinction in line with its specific gravel groups. A launch that coincides with the presentation of their RX825 group, or in other words, the 12-speed version of their top-of-the-line gravel group in electronic version.

Performance and reliability come together in the new Shimano GRX pedals for gravel

Gathering all the benefits we already knew from Shimano XT mountain bike pedals, Shimano launches a limited edition under the name Shimano GRX M8100-UG in which it applies the United in Gravel design so that its aesthetics are in line with their GRX gravel groups.

Like the pedals they derive from, these Shimano GRX pedals have a wide support surface for greater comfort on long gravel rides and a height as low as possible to make the application of force more efficient.

In addition, the Shimano GRX pedals have a specially designed profile to reduce mud accumulation and make both engagement and release easy even in these conditions. A feature that has been proving its efficiency in cyclocross and mountain bike competitions for some time and from which gravel cyclists will also benefit.

As usual, Shimano GRX pedals have a very smooth engagement and release, however, the majority SPD system in off-road pedals is a creation of Shimano, allowing us to adjust the tension of the spring that keeps us fixed to the pedals to our liking. These Shimano GRX M8100-UG pedals have a competitive weight of 342 grams.
