Shimano and the International Cycling Union (UCI) have announced the renewal of their historic collaboration until 2028. Shimano and UCI renew their historic collaboration until 2028
The status of UCI World Cycling Partner reflects the shared values between Shimano and the UCI. And following this agreement, the Japanese manufacturer will maintain its involvement in UCI World Championships, including disciplines as varied as road, para-cycling, track, XCO, XCM, BMX, cyclocross, gravel, and virtual cycling.
In this role, Shimano will provide its neutral support service and technical support to cyclists who experience mechanical problems during UCI World Championships. This service is especially important for riders from Federations that do not usually have the necessary resources to offer full assistance to their cyclists in competition.
Additionally, Shimano will be the main partner of the UCI World Cycling Super-Championship 2027, which will be held in Haute-Savoie, France, and will bring together around 20 disciplines.
