SCOTT announces a new executive team and begins a new era
The Swiss manufacturer SCOTT has been in transition for a few months towards a new stage that began a few years ago with the purchase of more than half of the company by the Asian group Youngoneha. Now they have just announced the appointment of Juwon Kim and Pascal Ducrot as Co-CEOs, as well as the formation of their new expanded executive team.
SCOTT renews its board and begins a new stage
The renewed executive team is composed of Baris Alev (Chief Financial Officer), Adrian Zahnd (Chief Commercial Officer), Reto Aeschbacher (Marketing and Digital Director), and Holger Klinter and Claudio Benelli (co-Directors of Operations). In addition, the product managers are Adrian Lutz (Bicycle Director) and Gerhard Mollenkopf (Technical Clothing Director), with a Footwear Director to be appointed soon.
With more than 80% of the company's revenue coming from cycling (bicycles), this will become the central priority. SCOTT will increase its investment in world-class product development, and will focus on growing markets such as electric bicycles and urban mobility.
