Robin Goomes is crowned as the queen of Freeride, reaffirming her victory at the Red Bull Rampage 2025
After a storm that forced the competition to be postponed for a day, the Utah desert once again became the epicenter of the world freeride. The Red Bull Rampage 2025 finally kicked off this Friday with the women's category, where New Zealander Robin Goomes retained her title with a spectacular performance that was close to perfection and earned her 89.50 points.
Two Backflips, one queen: Robin Goomes makes history in the Utah desert
The event, held on the cliffs of Virgin (Utah), brought together the seven best riders on the planet in an iconic setting. Sandstone walls, dizzying drops, and lines built by themselves along with their teams.

Goomes once again delivered an epic run, with two flawless Backflips and a line of great technical difficulty, where she stood out for her fluidity and control. Her final score was enough to narrowly beat Hannah Bergemann (89.33) and Georgia Astle (87.66), completing a podium of true luxury.

"The Rampage is where everything is put to the test: the mind, the body, and the courage," declared Goomes after her victory, celebrated with an honorary lap that sealed her second consecutive triumph in the most demanding event in the world of freeride.
The women's competition of the Rampage, introduced in 2024, thus consolidated its position on the calendar with a vibrant second edition that left images for history. In addition to the podium, the judges awarded special recognitions:
- Best Trick for Kirsten Van Horne (Suicide No Hander Drop)
- GoPro Moment and Toughness Award for Cami Nogueira
- McGazza Spirit Award for Hannah Bergemann
- Digger Award for the team of Chelsea Kimball, Aric Duncan, and Ryan Rodriguez
The jury evaluated each descent based on the difficulty of the line, execution, amplitude, tricks, and overall fluidity. With these premises, Goomes shone once again in the Utah sky, where her millimeter precision and her ability to maintain control on an extremely risky line confirmed her as the leading figure in women's freeride.
The 2025 edition maintains the new two-day format: Friday dedicated to women and Sunday reserved for the men's competition, which also suffered a one-day delay due to the storm that hit the region midweek.
