Koretzky wins his first Short Track at Snowshoe
The Snowshoe men's Short Track race came with all the favourites on the starting grid and for the first time Christopher Blevins was going to wear his rainbow World Champion's jersey. But Frenchman Victor Koretzky was once again the fastest and took the win in the midst of the fog that appeared on the last lap.

At the start, New Zealander Anton Cooper suffered a mechanical failure that left him stuck and all the riders behind him out of control. But at the front, the pace was as high and aggressive as ever and Frenchman Jordan Sarrou was the fastest to take the first curve.

After the starting loop, Brazilian Avancini took control of the race but Czech Ondrej Cink responded quickly and was in the lead before the end of the lap. American Christopher Blevins was third followed by Victor Koretzky.
The pace was high and the only one who seemed to be holding back was Mathias Flueckiger, who remained between fifth and sixth place. The Swiss rider had to finish 12th to win the overall World Cup.
The laps passed quickly and no one was giving way, the only novelty was a light rain made its appearance on lap 6 and soon began to be stronger, it remained to be seen if it would be the protagonist of the race.
On the penultimate lap Ondrej Cink continued to increase the pace in the midst of a fog that was covering the circuit, but it was not enough to open up a gap and everything would be decided on the last lap.
Avancini again took the lead going into the last lap, followed by Koretzky and Chistopher Blevins. The Frenchman attacked on a grassy uphill section, which was enough for him to reach the finish line alone.
Victor Koretzky won the Snowshoe Short Track, Avancini was second and Filippo Colombo closed the podium.
