The iconic Red Bull Rampage returns this fall to the Utah desert. It will be the 2025 edition and will take place on October 16 and 18, repeating the innovative two-day format that debuted in 2024 and for the first time in history included a women's competition. The event promises to once again be the most important extreme freeride event on the calendar.

The Red Bull Rampage 2025 repeats with the two-day format for men and women

On Thursday, October 16, the best female freeriders in the world will once again make history on the cliffs of Virgin, Utah. It will be the second time that a women's category is part of Rampage, following last year's impressive debut where New Zealander Robin Goomes took the victory and became the first champion of the event.

Two days later, on Saturday, October 18, it will be the turn of the men's event, with the most legendary and talented riders facing hand-built lines, impossible jumps, and the most demanding terrain in the world. The return of Canadian Brandon Semenuk is expected, who in 2024 achieved his fifth title in Rampage, an unprecedented milestone that consolidated him as the absolute king of freeride.

Rampage stands out from any other competition because the athletes themselves design and dig their lines on the mountain for days. Each rider has two scoring runs and will be evaluated based on the difficulty of the course, technical execution, fluidity, style, and height of the tricks. There is no stopwatch, only skill, creativity, and courage.

Fans who want to experience this unique event live can purchase their tickets starting on September 4 on the official Red Bull Rampage website. Passes for one or both days will be available.

As always, the list of participants will be by invitation and will include the top ranked riders from the previous year, along with special selections from a jury composed of former riders, judges, and industry members. The final names will be announced in the coming weeks.

Since its inception in 2001, Red Bull Rampage has established itself as the most prestigious and challenging event in freeride MTB. With 18 editions held and only 10 different winners, it is a true temple of extreme freeride.

Legends like Cam Zink, Brett Rheeder, Kurt Sorge, Kyle Strait, and Andreu Lacondeguy have left their mark on these cliffs, raising the bar of what is possible to do with a bike.

As with each edition, the event can be followed via streaming on Red Bull TV, with free access from their app or website.
