Red Bull officially joins the peloton, this is the new image of Red Bull - BORA
The arrival of Red Bull to road cycling is now a reality. The now renamed Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe presents the new team kit design. The team led by Primoz Roglic will wear for the first time the red bull logo of the energy drink brand in this Tour de France.
Red Bull-BORA-hangrohe lands in the peloton: this is the kit their riders will wear
The presence of a giant like Red Bull was one of the most shocking news this winter. The energy drink brand bought 51% of the shares of BORA-hansgrohe in a move that extended its reach to one of the last sports they had yet to enter. After the massive success they have achieved in Formula-1 and their presence in football or MotoGP, among others, it was announced at the beginning of the year that they were entering road cycling.
The news shook up the cycling world. Beyond the individual sponsorships they have had for years with cyclists like Wout Van Aert or Tom Pidcock, Red Bull raised the stakes and provided the necessary means to try to make the team one of the leading forces in the peloton.

Although it was hinted that nothing would change in this first year, it was later revealed that the team kits and bikes would change their design to make room for the famous red bull logo. Shortly after, it was announced that the new colors would be revealed a few days before the start of the Tour de France, when the riders would wear them for the first time. Meanwhile, Sportful -the company in charge of the team's kits- has been working on this for months.
Now, Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe has finally revealed the kit that Primoz Roglic and the rest of the team members will wear in the Tour.
The first images of the team's revamped look were focused on the new helmet. Red Bull now takes center stage with a design that, of course, resembles that of the brand's sponsored cyclists, but is slightly different: a red bull on each side with the brand's signature blue, gray, and yellow colors.
The jerseys and shorts were the most anticipated announcements and the team kept the excitement going until the Salzburg airport, just before flying to Florence, where the first stage of the 2024 Tour will take place.
In the jersey -clearly inspired by Formula-1 driver suits- dark blue dominates as the background color, while the Red Bull, BORA, and hansgrohe logos appear on the chest. The designers followed the pattern of placing sponsors on the upper part, sleeves, and collar.
The shorts are of the same dark blue color and feature the red bull logo in a more prominent position, along with other important team sponsors in other areas.
On the other hand, the bike now sports a white color with blue lettering.
In addition, Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe has also announced the riders who will be part of the Tour: Nico Denz, Marco Haller, Jai Hindley, Bob Jungels, Primoz Roglic, Matteo Sobrero, Danny van Poppel, and Aleksandr Vlasov.
