The 2026 Tour de France Femmes has served as the stage for one of the most important announcements in women's cycling. Starting August 1, Red Bull becomes a Major Partner and official energy drink supplier of FDJ UNITED-SUEZ, marking the first alliance of the Austrian brand with a women's cycling team.

Red Bull fully enters women's cycling with one of the most powerful teams in the WorldTour

The agreement, announced coinciding with the Grand Départ of the French round, will see the Red Bull logo appear from now on on the helmets of the French team and reinforces Red Bull's presence in the professional peloton, where it already has a strong involvement in men's cycling.

For its part, FDJ UNITED-SUEZ has explained that this collaboration represents a new step in the growth process that the team began since its creation in 2006. The French structure assures that it shares with Red Bull a common vision based on innovation, the pursuit of maximum performance, and a different way of communicating cycling to bring it closer to a wider audience.

In addition to financial and image support, the team will have access to Red Bull's performance ecosystem, including resources from the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center, with the aim of improving their working methods and continuing to develop tools focused on high performance.

The alliance is born with a vocation for continuity and aims to accelerate the sports and technological evolution of the team in the coming seasons.

Red Bull expands its commitment to cycling

This move represents a new step in Red Bull's growing involvement in road cycling. The brand is already one of the most important players in the men's peloton thanks to its participation in Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe, in addition to collaborating with numerous cyclists and projects linked to MTB, gravel, and other disciplines.

With this agreement, the company is entering for the first time as the main partner of a women's team, a step that reflects the growing commercial appeal that women's cycling is gaining, especially the Tour de France Femmes.

The general director of FDJ UNITED-SUEZ, Stephen Delcourt, celebrated the arrival of Red Bull and highlighted that the partnership is the result of the work done by the structure over the past years.

“We are delighted to welcome Red Bull. This partnership represents the culmination of all the structuring and development efforts we have made over the past years. We are united by much more than the pursuit of performance: we share the desire to challenge established models, innovate, and imagine new ways to grow and tell the story of our sport. That this alliance comes to light during the Tour de France Femmes makes it even more special and represents a new step in our development.”
