In the men's race, the duo of Fabian Rabensteiner and Casey South (Torpado Kenda FSA) won the overall classification thanks to a consistent week where they secured two stage victories and controlled their rivals at key moments.
The Klimatiza Orbea team, with Marc Stutzmann and Samuele Porro, shone with three partial triumphs, but paid the price for a mechanical problem on the opening day that cost them seven minutes. Nevertheless, they finished second overall. The podium was completed by the Samparisi brothers (KTM Spada powered by Brenta Brakes) after a solid performance throughout the week.

At the finish line in Davos, champions Fabian Rabensteiner and Casey South (Torpado Kenda FSA) highlighted that their strategy was to stay calm and control the attacks: "In the first climb we had a good pace and Klimatiza attacked, but we managed to catch them at the top. Then Metallurgica took more risks, but we knew we didn't have to respond to everything, just stay calm and secure the yellow jersey," explained Rabensteiner. South added: "It's been an incredible day. It's my first national title and winning at home is very special. Now it's time to celebrate a bit before the Marathon World Championships." On the other hand, Marc Stutzmann and Samuele Porro (Klimatiza Orbea), second overall, lamented their initial bad luck: "We lost seven minutes in the first stage due to a flat tire, but we reacted well and we are satisfied with three stage victories," summarized Stutzmann, while Porro acknowledged that they chose not to take risks in the final descent: "It was dangerous, with many roots, rocks, and mud."
In the women's competition, there were no doubts. Vera Looser and Alexis Skarda (Efficient Infiniti SCB SRAM) dominated the race with four stage victories and an undeniable superiority in the high mountain sections. The Namibian and the American thus achieved their first major victory together in the Epic Series.
The Buff Megamo of Rosa van Doorn and Janina Wüst finished in second position over 13 minutes behind, while the podium was completed by Alessia Nay and Kim Ames (Bulls Swiss).

In the women's category, the excitement was absolute for Vera Looser and Alexis Skarda (Efficient Infiniti SCB SRAM), dominant with four partial victories and the final title. Skarda confessed: "It feels absolutely incredible. Getting here was tough, with a long flight from the United States and lost luggage, so I didn't know what I could give. But being with Vera and helping her break her streak of second places... winning the Swiss Epic is amazing." Looser, who achieves her second title in this race after the one in 2023, added: "Finally! I hope this streak continues next year. I'm happy because the race showed that my form is good and I'm heading in the right direction. Now I hope to perform well at the Marathon World Championships in Valais."
