Prologo updates its most radical saddle: the Predator//02 comes with greater compatibility
Just a few days before the start of the 2026 Tour de France with a decisive team time trial, the Italian brand Prologo has officially presented the new Predator//02, a more accessible and compatible version of its revolutionary saddle designed for time trials and triathlons.

The Prologo Predator//02 aims to bring aerodynamics to more cyclists
The Predator was born as a high-performance project developed alongside Ironman world champion Sam Laidlow and the Visma Lease a Bike team, with the goal of optimizing the aerodynamic position of cyclists during long periods of effort. Now, Prologo expands the family with a new version that maintains the original philosophy but significantly improves its compatibility with most bicycles on the market.
The main innovation of the Predator//02 is the incorporation of Nack rails (Nano Carbon Fiber) with a standard section of 7x9 mm, a solution that allows the saddle to be installed on practically any current seat post and fastening system. Until now, one of the main drawbacks of the original Predator was precisely the need to use specific components.

Additionally, Prologo has maintained one of the most innovative aspects of the project: its modular design. Lthe base and the rails can be separated and replaced independently, facilitating future upgrades or replacements without the need to change the entire set.
Aerodynamics developed with CFD and wind tunnel
According to the Italian brand, the Predator//02 retains all the aerodynamic features that made the original model famous. Its development has included CFD simulations and wind tunnel tests to optimize airflow around the cyclist and promote a more aggressive and efficient position on the bike.
The new structure uses an injected carbon base with long fibers, a solution that allows for cost reduction without sacrificing a very competitive weight. The saddle maintains compact dimensions of 260 x 110 mm and weighs only 159 grams in its lightest version.

Two versions for different uses
The new Predator//02 will be available in two configurations:
- Predator//02TT: 50 mm wide nose, aimed at time trial specialists and extremely aggressive positions.
- Predator//02TRI: 60 mm nose, with a larger support surface and padding to improve comfort during prolonged efforts typical of triathlons.
Price and availability
Prologo has already put the new Predator//02 on sale through its website and authorized distributors. Both the TT and TRI versions have a recommended price of 569 euros. The declared weight is 159 grams for the TT model and 169 grams for the wider TRI variant.
