POC launches a limited edition EF Pro Cycling
Taking advantage of the dispute of the Giro d'Italia, POC wanted to pay tribute to EF Education-EasyPost, who faces the most important races of the season with the launch of a limited edition of their POC Cytal helmet and Elitic Toric glasses, both featuring the characteristic pink of the American team.

Any excuse is good for brands to present a limited edition of their products. In the case of POC, the motivation has been to pay tribute to the EF Education-EasyPost team, who they have been supplying their products to for some time. For this reason, the Swedish brand has put on sale a limited edition of their Cytal helmet and Elitic Toric glasses.
The Cytal is an open and ventilated helmet that does not compromise on aerodynamics. A helmet that boasts safety with the title of currently being the best road cycling helmet in the prestigious Virginia Tech tests, an aspect in which the integration of the Mips Air Node rotational impact system helps.

POC uses two different densities of polystyrene in this helmet, denser on the top for better protection and less dense on the lower half to keep the weight as low as possible. Like in any current helmet, especially in an open model that seeks maximum comfort, its ventilation openings are designed to improve airflow and, in turn, to allow the glasses to be securely placed.
Glasses that, to match the helmet, should also be the limited edition of the POC Elicit Toric, also in the colors of EF Education-EasyPost. A truly minimalist model of glasses in terms of lacking a frame. Only the team's pink stands out on the temples, hollowed out on the sides to keep them lightweight without compromising strength and the nose bridge.
In the current trend, the Elitic Toric glasses have a generously sized lens with water and oil repellent treatment to improve vision on rainy days and, at the same time, prevent dirt from sticking to them.
A kit that, as expected when talking about limited edition products, has a high price: 290 € for the glasses and 340 € for the helmet. Both products can be purchased from the POC website.
