The Italian brand Pirelli presents a new generation of tires Cinturato™ Gravel divided into the High Performance (HP-Line) and Performance (P-Line) ranges. The new models come with redesigned compounds and casings, promising improvements of up to 20% in puncture protection and 15% less rolling resistance.

New Pirelli Cinturato Gravel Tires

Pirelli has taken a step forward in its gravel tire offering with a complete renewal of the Cinturato™ Gravel family. The new collection is now structured into two distinct lines, HP-Line and P-Line, which aim to meet the needs of both the most demanding cyclist and the user who prioritizes versatility and durability across all types of terrain.

HP-Line: maximum performance and competition technology

The new High Performance Line (HP-Line) consists of the models Cinturato Gravel H and Cinturato Gravel M, both completely renewed and manufactured at the Pirelli Milan-Bollate plant. They use natural rubber with FSC™ certification and the brand's most advanced technology, inherited directly from its experience in high-level MTB.

The design of the tread pattern remains the same as the previous generation, but the interior has changed completely. They incorporate the new SmartEVO GR compound, a 120 TPI casing, and the ProWALL Gravel structure, derived from the latest evolution of the brand's mountain bike tires.

  • Cinturato Gravel H (Hard Terrain): designed for hard and compact surfaces. Improves puncture resistance by 20% and reduces rolling resistance by 10% compared to the previous model.
  • Cinturato Gravel M (Mixed Terrain): intended for mixed or unstable terrains. Increases puncture protection by 7% and decreases rolling resistance by 15%, according to internal Pirelli tests.

P-Line: balance between performance and versatility

On the other hand, the Performance Line (P-Line) expands the range with a complete offering that includes the Cinturato Gravel RH, RM, S, H, and M versions. All share the SpeedGRIP compound, the TechWALL Gravel casing of 60 TPI, and an approach designed to offer a balanced performance between lightness, grip, and durability.

The Cinturato Gravel RH and RM are the main novelties within this line:

  • RH (Racing Hard): more squared profile and aggressive side knobs, ideal for mixed and fast tracks with asphalt sections.
  • RM (Racing Mixed): inherits the design of the previous RC model, with an all-terrain tread inspired by XC MTB tires.

The H and M versions maintain the same design as their HP-Line counterparts, although with a more economical 60 TPI casing, while the Cinturato Gravel S retains its current structure for softer and muddy terrains.

Availability, sizes, and prices

The new Pirelli Cinturato Gravel from both lines are already available in the most popular sizes 40-622 and 45-622, in Black and Classic versions.

The new Cinturato™ Gravel 2025 range combines sustainable materials, technology inherited from competitive MTB, and measurable improvements in rolling and protection, positioning itself as one of the most complete and advanced options in the current market.
