Pinarello makes it clear: Tom Pidcock will continue competing with Pinarello bikes in MTB, CX, and gravel
The signing of Tom Pidcock by the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team opened the door for the British rider to compete in mountain bike and cyclocross with SCOTT bikes, the technical sponsor of the team. However, to put an end to any rumors, the Italian manufacturer has just announced that Pidcock will continue competing with Pinarello bikes for the next 3 years in off-road disciplines.
Pinarello and Tom Pidcock will remain together for at least 3 more seasons
Pinarello is pleased to confirm that Tom Pidcock will continue competing and helping to develop their off-road bikes for the next three years. This announcement comes after his transfer from INEOS Grenadiers to the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.
Pidcock has achieved numerous victories with Pinarello over the past four years, winning world and Olympic titles in XCO with the Dogma XC. A mountain bike that was developed, a rigid and full suspension model specifically for him and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot.

In addition, the 25-year-old British cyclist triumphed with the Crossista F at the 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships and will have that bike available to him in the future, along with the Grevil F, if he decides to compete in any gravel competition. The only occasions he will not compete with a Pinarello will be during road races.
Pinarello's president, Fausto Pinarello, explained it this way: "We are delighted to confirm that Tom will continue competing with our cyclocross, cross country, and gravel bikes. He is an incredible cyclist with phenomenal technical skills and it has been a pleasure to work with him on the Crossista and the Dogma XC, both models in segments where we had not had bikes for a long time."
"Tom is a cyclist who knows what he wants. His unwavering pursuit of excellence has presented us with many challenges and has allowed us to manufacture three incredible frames with which he has triumphed on the most important stages of the sport. We are delighted to keep this successful collaboration alive."
For his part, Pidcock said: "Working with Fausto and the Pinarello team over the past four years has been a privilege and a truly enjoyable experience. I am very happy to continue working with them on everything related to off-road from now on."
"So far we have developed three cyclocross and XC MTB frames together and all of them exceeded my expectations from the moment I sat on them, I couldn't have asked for more. I felt so confident in them that I was able to compete and win after the first two outings."
"For me, our relationship feels more like a partnership than a sponsorship. I look forward to the next three years of competition and the development of more fantastic bikes with Pinarello."
