Pinarello confirms that Pidcock will compete again with their road bikes and hints at a renewal with INEOS
Fausto Pinarello did not hide in statements to the Italian media Tuttobici in which he affirmed that we will see Tom Pidcock competing on the road again on a Pinarello bike. This implies that, despite the collaboration between Q36.5 and the Italian company not being confirmed, negotiations to certify the sponsorship of the Swiss team must be in a very advanced stage.

The agreement between Q36.5 and Pinarello could be imminent
After Tom Pidcock's departure from INEOS Grenadiers and his signing last year by Q36.5, a curious situation was experienced with the British cyclist. While in road competitions he has been competing on a Scott bike, supplier of the team, outside the asphalt the personal contract that Pidcock has with Pinarello has made us see him compete on a Pinarello bike both in MTB and recently in the Gravel World Championships.
However, Q36.5's contract with Scott ends at the end of 2025 and the Italian brand has not missed the opportunity to launch its sponsorship offer so that one of its main stars uses their bikes in all competitions he participates in. "It is not pleasant to see our cyclist using other bikes so there are great chances that Tom will also use our bikes on the road" stated Fausto Pinarello, interviewed on a podcast by the Italian media Tuttobici, who concluded "we could have two professional teams next year".

This statement also has another implication, which is that, contrary to rumors pointing to the end of sponsorship for INEOS Grenadiers, everything indicates that Pinarello will continue its long collaboration with the British team that dates back to its creation in 2010.
