Peter Sagan to compete at the XC World Championships in Glasgow

This is how Peter Sagan announced that he will compete in the XCO World Championships in Glasgow, 6 days after taking the start in the Road World Championships, which he did not finish.

First training ride and recon in Glentress with my Specialized S-Works Epic EVO, ahead of the upcoming UCI World Championship MTB races. Thanks to my friends at Specialized Factory Racing and everybody at Specialized for their help and support.

Technical areas are not a problem for Sagan, who began his career in this modality.

After reviewing the World Championship Start Lists, Peter Sagan does indeed appear last, behind Van der Poel, on the start list for both the Short Track on the 10th and the XCO on the 12th.

Sagan's intention is to be at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 and that means trying to achieve the necessary points for Slovakia to have at least one place in the mountain bike event.
