Slovakian Peter Sagan had already announced that after his retirement as a professional road cyclist he wanted to dedicate at least one year to mountain biking, but his decision has been fully accelerated and today he announced that we will see him racing at the Short Track and XCO World Championships in Glasgow.

This is how Peter Sagan announced that he will compete in the XCO World Championships in Glasgow, 6 days after taking the start in the Road World Championships, which he did not finish.

After reviewing the World Championship Start Lists, Peter Sagan does indeed appear last, behind Van der Poel, on the start list for both the Short Track on the 10th and the XCO on the 12th.
