The Pinarello Dogma XC with which Pauline Ferrand-Prevot starts the 2024 season in detail
Pauline Ferrand-Prevot kicks off the XCO season this weekend at the Shimano Supercup Massi La Nucía. The current World Champion already has the Pinarello Dogma XC ready to try to take the victory. In this article, we analyze in detail the colors and components of one of the most coveted bikes in the world.
Pauline Ferrand-Prevot's Pinarello Dogma XC: we take a close look at the World Champion XCO's bike
La Nucía marks the starting point of international XCO. The town in Alicante will once again feature some of the big names in the discipline, among which is undoubtedly the current World Champion of XCC and XCO. The riders are already saying goodbye to the preseason and are facing a campaign planned to arrive in top condition at the Paris Olympics.
Pauline Ferrand-Prevot starts her second season with the INEOS Grenadiers. The French rider joined the British structure before Pinarello -after many years without stepping on the dirt- had the Dogma XC ready. The Italian manufacturer presented a full suspension model in May and we had to wait until August to see the hardtail one with which Pauline once again conquered the rainbow.

Despite what we saw in Glasgow, Ferrand-Prevot is once again betting on the double version of the Dogma XC. The bike maintains the characteristic triangle over the bottom bracket that gives it a distinctive touch, but with which they also achieve a reactive and rigid frame.
The chromatic design shares aspects with the one we saw last season, although it also has its own identity. Now it has been decided to emphasize the geometric shapes with the colors of the rainbow and a cream-brown color has been added. On the other hand, the background remains white, while the name of Pinarello appears again in black.
The shoes of the Dogma XC are once again Continental Race King -which could repeat the 2.2" width seen on previous occasions-, which sit on Princeton P1 Singularis M30 carbon wheels.
Shimano once again dresses the Dogma XC with the complete XTR group. This time, she has chosen a 34-tooth chainring and a 12-speed cassette. The brakes are also provided by Shimano XTR with 160 mm discs.
The integrated handlebar and stem are signed by Most -Pinarello's component brand-, while one of the notable changes is found in the saddle: the Fizik model is abandoned and replaced by a Prologo Scratch NDR.
The ESI Grip grips -as well as the top tube- carry the detail of the famous cards that also usually appear on the bikes that her teammate Tom Pidcock rides.
