Add a touch of color to your routes with the new Panaracer Gravelking tires
Traditionally Panaracer has surprised us with rubber compounds of different colors that break with the usual aesthetics of tires. Who does not remember their mountain bike tires with a cream-colored rubber compound that caused a sensation in the late 90s, as well as being tires with fantastic performance?
Now, the Japanese brand takes advantage of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the launch of its Gravelking gravel tires, which have just been renewed, to present a limited edition of the SS, SK, and X1 versions in which the rubber has a purple or green hue.

New Gravelking tires in which the brand has also worked on new sidewalls, compatible with hookless rims and designed to facilitate beading so that it is possible even with the workshop pump, without using a compressor. Apart from that, the brand has improved the casings of these Gravelking tires that are manufactured in three versions: Tufftex, high-density and great puncture protection; Tufftex+ with improved flank-to-flank protection; and Tufftex R, its most competitive casing in which it seeks to improve rolling resistance and lightness.
Regarding the tread patterns, Panaracer has two models of Gravelking, the GK and SS slick and semi-slick respectively, more oriented to urban use. As for specifically gravel tires, the brand has three patterns: the SK, with low knobs for dry and compact terrain conditions; the more versatile X1 with generous knobs on the sides while keeping low knobs in the central area to promote good rolling; and, finally, the EXT with very pronounced knobs to maintain a great grip capacity when the terrain is soft or muddy.
