At its heart, we find the Shimano EP801 motor equipped with the exclusive RS Gen2 RC firmware, developed by Orbea. This system provides up to 85 Nm of motor torque, achieving a perfect synergy between the cyclist and the bike. Denna offers two specific modes: Gravel, for more compact terrains and high cadences; and Gravel+, which provides more torque on more complicated and loose surfaces, optimizing traction and performance in extreme conditions.
The Shimano EP family has some of the most precise sensors and fastest monitoring capabilities on the market, and the RS Gen2 firmware is designed to take advantage of them. The result is instant and delay-free power that feels natural. All Denna models allow for easy switching between assistance modes with the left brake lever. In addition, Denna offers the option of the Shimano EN600 display to easily control profiles on the go. This can also be done from Garmin devices, just link them to the bike to access all information about the battery and motor.
Continuing with the electric section, the Denna incorporates a state-of-the-art internal battery with 420 Wh, capable of supporting rides of up to 3,500 meters of positive elevation gain in Eco mode. Additionally, it can be complemented with an optional 210 Wh Range Extender, lightweight and compact, ideal for those seeking even longer adventures.
Regarding its frame, comfort is the strong point of this bike. Its frame and fork, made of OMR carbon, have been designed to offer a smooth and efficient ride even on rough terrains, allowing vibrations to be absorbed without losing lateral rigidity. The tube shapes resist lateral flexion, meaning that pedaling efficiency and Denna's maneuverability are not compromised.
This comfort is also contributed by its large wheel clearance that allows for tires up to 50c, significantly increasing versatility and comfort on various terrains.
As is customary with Orbea, the new Denna can be fully customized through the MyO platform according to user preferences, from specific components to multiple color and finish options.
