Orbea debuts integrated shock absorber in its new Muga
The Basque brand has just presented the Orbea Muga, an electric bicycle that breaks the mold with its SUV design, geometry inspired by MTB, the latest generation Bosch motor, and premium equipment ready for both everyday use and adventure. In addition, its hidden rear shock absorber could open the door to its incorporation in other models

Orbea launches the new Muga: an urban and adventurous SUV e-bike that is already a winner at Eurobike
Orbea has officially presented its new Muga, a full-suspension e-bike that combines urban comfort with the adventurous capability of a mountain bike. The Muga has not only been conceived as an all-around bicycle, but has also been awarded at Eurobike 2025, where the jury highlighted its striking design, safe performance, and crossover character between urban and off-road use.
Muga represents a new category within the universe of electric bicycles: an SUV with true off-road capabilities. Its active geometry aluminum frame is inspired by Orbea's experience in MTB, offering 115 mm of rear travel and a 120 mm fork. The result is a stable, comfortable, and versatile ride on all types of terrain, from cobbled streets to mountain trails.

Sporty and electric, that's the Ridley E-ASTR, the new e-gravel bike from the Belgian brand
There is no doubt that one of the strong points of this Orbea Muga is its aesthetics. A sophisticated bike where the shapes of its rear swingarm and its "main triangle" stand out, integrating the shock absorber in a brilliant way.

The Adjustable Cockpit with integrated light allows you to choose between four handlebar positions to adapt to each cyclist's style, while the integrated telescopic seatpost improves maneuverability in technical areas or during urban cycling.

The heart of the Muga is the powerful and silent Bosch Performance Line CX motor, with four assistance modes that adapt to each situation. Depending on the model, it includes integrated and protected 600 Wh or 750 Wh batteries inside the downtube thanks to the Secure Battery System security system, which prevents theft, impacts, and vibrations. In addition, Orbea offers a 250 Wh Range Extender to extend autonomy on longer routes.
The entire Muga range has been designed as a cohesive system. Its silent fenders, integrated rear racks compatible with MIK HD, MIK SIDE, and Ortlieb QL3.1, and the possibility of installing a front rack of up to 10 kg, guarantee functionality and durability. The Muga 20 and 30 models are also compatible with trailers, and all incorporate complete Supernova lighting with StVZO technology, automatic activation, and brake light function.
The Muga also incorporates passive safety elements such as wrap-around lights and compatibility with tracking systems (Bosch Connect, AirTag, Tile), as well as the digital lock function through the Bosch Flow app.
