OQUO raises its stakes in high-level gravel with new riders for 2026
The Basque brand OQUO has announced its gravel rider lineup for the 2026 season, in a move that reinforces its commitment to high-level competitive gravel. From Markina-Xemein (Bizkaia), the company confirms the addition of four prominent names to an already established team within the discipline.
OQUO strengthens its gravel structure and confirms the RP50 LTD as the reference wheel
Joining the gravel riders already linked to the brand, Lawrence Naesen, Morgan Aguirre, and Griffin Easter, this year will be the Dutch Piotr Havik, second place finisher in the 2025 Gravel Earth Series; the Spaniard Jorge González Segurado, coming from the Euskadi Foundation and with recent experience in the professional road peloton; the Swedish Hanna Nilsson, Nordic gravel champion in 2025 and with a past in the road elite in teams like Ceratizit; and the Belgian Kevin Panhuyzen, world gravel champion in 2022.
With this lineup, OQUO confirms that it will have a presence in some of the most demanding events on the international gravel calendar, although it has not yet detailed a specific competition program.
All riders will compete with the Oquo RP50 LTD wheels, the brand's reference model for high-performance gravel. This is a wheel with a 50 mm aerodynamic profile, 25 mm internal width, and a declared weight of 1,421 grams per set.

According to the brand itself, the RP50 LTD has been designed to offer speed on any surface, combining lightness and stability against crosswinds. Additionally, its internal width allows for mounting more generous tires, which is key in modern gravel. This same model is also used on the road by the Lotto-Intermarché team, precisely because of that balance between aerodynamic efficiency and low weight.

The company emphasizes that having cyclists who compete at the highest level is essential to validate the real performance of the product in races. In the words of Ioritz Sasiain, OQUO's communication manager, the addition of these names “completes a top-level team” and reaffirms the brand's commitment to competitive gravel.
OQUO's strategy for 2026 thus maintains its line of work based on the continuous development of products alongside athletes and professional teams, using competition as a testing ground to continue evolving its range.
For now, no additional details have been provided regarding specific technical agreements or a finalized competition schedule.
