Official: Jolanda Neff joins Fenix-Premier Tech for 2027, opening a new chapter in her career
The future of Jolanda Neff is already resolved. Fenix-Premier Tech has officially announced the signing of the Olympic mountain bike champion for the 2027 season. The Swiss rider is leaving Cannondale Factory Racing and joining a WorldTour structure that will allow her to continue competing in MTB, cyclocross, and road cycling.
Jolanda Neff confirms her signing with Fenix-Premier Tech
What was previously unconfirmed information is now official. As we reported a few days ago, Jolanda Neff will race for Fenix-Premier Tech starting in 2027. The Belgian team announced on October 22 the arrival of one of the great figures in international mountain biking, marking the beginning of a new chapter after her time with Cannondale Factory Racing.

This move comes at a time of significant changes for the Swiss rider. The closure of the Cannondale Factory Racing team at the end of 2026 had left her sporting future uncertain, but Neff has found a destination that aligns particularly well with her career and interests.

Fenix-Premier Tech is one of the structures that clearly bets on combining different disciplines of women's cycling. Its main reference is Puck Pieterse, who has demonstrated over the past few years that it is possible to compete at the highest level in XCO, cyclocross, and road cycling.
Neff's signing will thus bring together two world champions in XCO from different generations within the same project.
Neff wants to continue growing in all three disciplines
The team has highlighted both the achievements of their new signing and her international experience and ability to compete in various terrains. Neff, Olympic XCO champion in Tokyo and world champion in 2017, has been among the top references in women's MTB for over a decade.
The Swiss cyclist has expressed particular motivation with this team change.
"I am very excited to join Fenix-Premier Tech, a team that brings together mountain biking, cyclocross, and road cycling at the highest global level", Neff explained in the official statement.
The rider has also made it clear that her arrival is not solely about seeking new individual results.
"I will put all my heart and effort into becoming a better cyclist in every aspect, as well as sharing all my experience with the other riders," she pointed out.
Neff has particularly emphasized the philosophy of the Belgian structure and its commitment to the development of women's cycling.
"I have always admired how this team pays so much attention to women, creating professional structures for them and developing young riders with a long-term vision. I hope to contribute a lot to Fenix-Premier Tech and I am looking forward to starting to compete."
A return to a WorldTour structure that she also knows well
Although Neff has spent most of her career in mountain biking, the road is not an unfamiliar terrain for her. In 2019, she was part of Trek-Segafredo and had previously competed with Rabobank-Liv Giant.
Her achievements on the road include the Swiss national title in 2018, as well as international results such as eighth place at the Rio 2016 Olympics and a podium finish at the Trofeo Alfredo Binda that same year.
She also maintains a close relationship with cyclocross, where she has continued to compete at a good level in recent seasons. In 2026, she finished sixth at the World Championships in Hulst, a result that demonstrates her ability to remain competitive in this specialty.
Her arrival at Fenix-Premier Tech strengthens a roster that will also include young talents like Lise Revol and Barbora Bukovská, two recently announced signings that align with the same multidisciplinary philosophy.
For now, the team has not detailed the calendar that Neff will follow during 2027 or how she will distribute her goals among mountain biking, cyclocross, and road cycling. The duration of her contract has also not been communicated.
What is clear is that the Swiss rider does not view this signing as a farewell to the disciplines that have defined her career. At nearly 34 years old, Neff finds a new structure from which to continue competing and to contribute her experience to a generation of riders who are consolidating an increasingly versatile understanding of professional cycling.
