Not only Red Bull signs helmets: Vingegaard debuts sponsor with own colors and message
Those of you following the Critérium du Dauphiné will have noticed how easy it is to distinguish Jonas Vingegaard from the rest of the Visma-Lease a Bike team members thanks to the striking red and white helmet that the Danish rider has been using since this race, different from the yellow helmets usually used by the team.

Until now, we had only seen personal sponsors with differentiated helmets being worn by cyclists like Wout van Aert or Tom Pidcock, a trend that has faded in recent times with the arrival of the energy drink brand sponsoring Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe a year ago.
Now, Jonas Vingegaard stands out clearly by wearing a red and white helmet in his return to competition for the Critérium du Dauphiné, representing the colors of the Danish flag. This is a sponsorship agreement with Bygma, a construction materials supplier from that country, which Vingegaard proudly displays as a symbol of national pride. "Their support means a lot to me and I am excited about this unique collaboration. The helmet represents more than just a design: it is a symbol of our shared values and heritage," stated the announcement of the sponsorship issued by the Danish cyclist.

This personal sponsorship has been approved by Visma-Lease a Bike, who have never been opposed to Wout van Aert's Red Bull colors on his helmet. "We are incredibly proud that Bygma dares to take this step towards a personalized helmet with us. It is a testament to Jonas' roots and his unique position in cycling," they stated.
The sponsorship of Bygma to Jonas Vingegaard will last until the end of the 2025 season.
