Coming from an early background in BMX and motocross, Norton stands out for his race reading and technical ability, qualities that he will now bring to the Swiss team aboard the SCOTT Gambler RC. The rider himself emphasizes that this signing represents “a new beginning,” marked by new perspectives and a different environment after overcoming a challenging period due to injury.
Jess Blewitt, talent and character from New Zealand
At just 23 years old, Jess Blewitt is considered one of the most promising riders in women's downhill. The New Zealander has five national titles, five World Cup podiums, and was also the first woman to compete in Red Bull Hardline, a milestone that speaks to her competitive character.

Blewitt arrives at the SCOTT DH Factory with a clear goal of continuing to fight for podiums and gaining consistency, without losing the enjoyment of racing. The team highlights her resilience, technique, and ability to overcome adverse situations as key values of her signing.
Continuity and new names in the 2026 structure
In addition to the two new signings, the SCOTT DH Factory has confirmed the renewal of Ethan Craik, one of the pillars of the team in recent seasons, and the official entry of French rider Vicky Clavel, who achieved consistent results in the World Cup in 2025, a European bronze, and a top 10 finish at the World Championships.
The 2026 roster is completed with Benoît Coulanges, consolidating a balanced mix of experience and youth with clear ambitions in the international calendar.
The team director, Patrice Afflatet, summarizes the focus of this new stage by stating that the arrival of Norton and Blewitt strengthens the team “in ambition, confidence, and determination,” with an eye on competing at the highest level and providing solid entertainment throughout the season.

In parallel, the SCOTT DH Factory maintains its collaboration with long-term technical partners such as Michelin, FOX, Syncros, Shimano, and Motorex, and adds DT Swiss as the new official wheel supplier, reinforcing the technical aspect of the project.
