Having the possibility to create a project like this from scratch in the brand where I have grown up competing, is a dream. In addition, I couldn't be happier with the team of riders and staff we have formed, everyone has fit perfectly from minute one and shares the passion for competition that Mondraker represents. Looking forward to helping translate all the development that takes place in competition to final production and bring many joys to Mondraker”.
Mondraker Factory Racing will have some associated brands such as Shimano, Fox Racing Shox, Alpinestars, E*thirteen, X-Sauce or Maxxis, but the total support that the team will receive from the factory is its main support.
This is how Miguel Pina, CEO of Mondraker, commented on the brand's new project: “We start a new stage in competition with Mondraker Factory Racing. Without a doubt, our passion for competition is linked to our roots as a brand. We have always tried to develop the best technology by pushing it to the limit in the most demanding competitions in the world, that's why we take this step with Mondraker Factory, because we want a structure that has all the direct resources from the factory and all our potential at the service of the best riders in the world. We want to put the name of Mondraker back at the top of world downhill. It is a great step in our history as a brand, to make history again in the Formula 1 of mountain biking”.
