New gravel: Bianchi Arcadex with internal storage
Evolution of the most adventurous gravel bike from Bianchi, the Arcadex, which inherits the sporty lines of its more racing sister, the Impulso. At the same time, it reinforces its kilometer-devouring facet by enhancing its qualities for bikepacking and adding a useful internal storage in its down tube.
Pedal towards the wild with the new Bianchi Arcadex
After a first generation, which derived the lines and general design of one of its electric bikes, now Bianchi gives the Arcadex its own entity with a completely new frame clearly oriented towards long-distance gravel and bikepacking but, it cannot be denied, has some inspiration from the lines of its sporty gravel Impulso.
As a good extreme gravel bike, the wheel clearance is extremely generous, allowing the use of tires up to 700x50c, 45 in case of using fenders. However, the big news is the inclusion of an internal storage system in the down tube that, as usual, houses a small bag to carry basic tools.

The geometry of this Bianchi Arcadex is also specific to spend many hours on the bike and achieve maximum comfort. The sizes are resized to better adjust the stack of the same and, most importantly, both seatstays and total wheelbase grow considerably to achieve a more stable behavior.
Of course, being a brand new bike implies the already mandatory internal point-to-point wiring, with a design that allows the assembly of mechanical groups and not just electronic as is the case with some models. Also following the current trend, the use of the UDH derailleur hanger continues to spread, aiming to become the standard that ends the madness that has historically reigned with this component. By the way, speaking of the hanger, mention that the rear thru-axle hides a small multitool with 4, 5, and 6 mm allen keys.
Regarding the transport capabilities, the Bianchi Arcadex has threads, in addition to the usual ones for two bottle cages, also under the down tube next to the bottom bracket and on the top tube to attach a bag using screws. By the way, speaking of bags, Bianchi has created a specific set of bikepacking bags that can be purchased with the bike. In addition to the aforementioned top tube bag fixed with screws, a handlebar bag, a frame bag, and a saddle bag.
The Bianchi Arcadex is available in two frame levels Pro and Comp. The first ones come with Velomann Terbium wheels with carbon rim and SRAM Apex/GX Eagle AXS groups; or 12v Shimano GRX. In the Comp models, there are also two setups, one with mechanical SRAM Apex and the other with Shimano GRX. As a detail, it is worth mentioning that although the fork is rigid as standard, an option is available to mount a Rock Shox Rudy XPLR suspension fork.
