New GASGAS MXC with SRAM Eagle Powertrain: All-Mountain electric ready for anything
The new GASGAS MXC is presented under the definition of 'less racer, more fun' and it is clear that this is a bike with its own character. The manufacturer GASGAS continues to expand its e-MTB catalog and this time it does so with a carbon all-mountain with the SRAM Eagle Powertrain system.
The new GASGAS MXC takes the brand's electric catalog to a new level of fun
The new GASGAS MXC is a very versatile e-MTB that is ready for anything, whether you're riding fast on easy trails, riding safely on more technical trails or spending the day at the bikepark.
Fun
The MXC is an agile all-mountain bike thanks to its progressive geometry with a steep head angle, short swingarm, comfortable reach and active kinematics. It also features 160/140 mm travel suspension, a mullet system with 29" front and 27.5" rear wheels and a carbon frame. The brand assures that this combination achieves an agile and responsive flow that allows quick direction changes and a safe ride.
RECOMENDADO
A size-specific rear swingarm ensures that all riders have the same feeling on it. In addition, elements such as oversized bearings, extra top tube protection and a plastic chainstay cover ensure that this e-MTB is built to last.
SRAM Eagle PowerTrain electrical system
On the electrical side, GASGAS is one of the exclusive brands that SRAM has chosen to implement its new electrical systems, and the GASGAS MXC mounts the new SRAM Eagle Powertrain eMTB in its entirety.
At the heart of the system is a motor with 90 Nm of torque, 680 W of maximum power, two levels of assistance and automatic shifting and inertial navigation functions. But of all its features, perhaps the most outstanding is its super-quiet operation and natural power delivery.
The autonomy of this e-MTB has an integrated 630Wh battery to which a 250Wh rage extender can be added and to control everything it mounts an AXS Bridge Display on the top tube.
DVO powered by WP
The MXC 6 and MXC 5 models include the latest in suspension technology from DVO powered by WP. Thanks to the collaboration between the two suspension experts, WP's cone valve technology is integrated into the reliable DVO hardware. The cone valve acts as a bleed valve on hard impacts and braking bumps. This allows you to ride higher in both fork and shock travel, thanks to the added damping generated. The result is a safer, more comfortable ride feel that reduces rider fatigue and hand stiffness, and improves rider confidence on long descents.
GASGAS MXC: models, specifications and availability
The MXC is available in three different models: MXC 6, MXC 5 and MXC 4. All three share the same carbon frame, geometry and kinematics. As well as the 29"/27.5" wheel size. All MXC models feature the SRAM Eagle Powertrain drive unit with 630 Wh battery. The MXC 6 and MXC 5 use DVO suspension powered by WP with a 160mm travel, 38mm diameter front fork and 140mm rear air shock. The MXC 4 is equipped with a RockShox Lyrik Select+ 160 mm front fork and a Deluxe Select+ rear shock.
