New FSA handlebar with extensions for gravel and long distance
Gravel lovers have more and more options that adapt to each of the approaches of this diverse discipline. Those who regularly face ultra-distance routes and bikepacking will find a good option to achieve optimal bike positioning with maximum simplicity in the new FSA Pro-Wing AGX handlebar, which combines a design with a lot of flare and an integrated aero mini-extension.
Comfort, control, and aerodynamics come together in the FSA Pro-Wing AGX handlebar for gravel
The handlebar is usually one of the most characteristic components of gravel bikes. With the evolution of this discipline, manufacturers have created a complete range of models, making designs with more or less flare fashionable, which have even become popular on the road.
However, the new FSA Pro-Wing AGX is not a sports-oriented handlebar for gravel competitions, at least not for UCI Gravel Series competitions where distances are contained and pedaling in large groups for much of the tests means that models closer to road bikes are preferred.

The FSA Pro-Wing AGX is a handlebar aimed at long ultra-distance tests and bikepacking where the cyclist rides alone for many hours. It is precisely in this type of tests where we have usually seen the use of aerodynamic extensions. An accessory that adds some clutter to the handlebars and has been controversial in recent years, associating its use in groups with a higher incidence of falls.
FSA has opted for an intermediate solution that is much cleaner and simpler. A handlebar that includes a small loop in its central part as a simple aerodynamic attachment while not taking up space on the handlebar when mounting accessories such as lights, cycle computer, bag, etc.
In addition, the FSA Pro-Wing AGX follows the line of the most aggressive gravel handlebars and has a flare of its tips of no less than 25°, which means having 5 centimeters more width in the curve of the handlebar compared to the grip on the levers, resulting in stability and extra control of the bike on descents.
On the other hand, the aerodynamic extension offers an advance of 17 cm compared to the horizontal part of the handlebar. A model made of aluminum offering a weight of 380 g.
Being a handlebar aimed at long distances and bikepacking, FSA has collaborated with Givi, a specialized brand in suitcases and bags in the motorcycle sector, who has manufactured a handlebar bag that integrates perfectly with this FSA Pro-Wing AGX.
