New FOX Transfer Neo post of 225 mm
FOX has announced the expansion of its wireless Transfer Neo dropper post range with a new 225 mm travel version, a figure that was not previously available in its catalog. With this launch, the brand reduces the gap against its main competitor in the long-travel wireless dropper post segment and strengthens a platform that had already been consolidated since its debut in 2024.
FOX expands its wireless Transfer Neo dropper post to 225 mm of travel
When the Transfer Neo hit the market, FOX positioned itself as a reference by offering a wireless dropper post with 200 mm, something unprecedented at that time. Shortly after, the update of the RockShox Reverb AXS raised the bar to 225 and 250 mm. Now, FOX responds with this new measurement that expands options for taller cyclists or those looking to maximize clearance over the bike on technical descents.
The new 225 mm Transfer Neo maintains exactly the same design, operation, and internals as the rest of the range. The only real difference is the increased travel, which integrates without aesthetic or technical changes compared to previous versions.
With this addition, the Transfer Neo now offers six different travel options, from 100 to 225 mm, in 25 mm increments. The 225 mm version is available in the three standard diameters: 30.9 mm, 31.6 mm, and 34.9 mm, which is particularly relevant for modern frames, including many e-MTBs.

FOX continues to bet on its Neo wireless communication system, which the brand claims is 100 times faster than Bluetooth and up to 20 times faster than the closest wireless system on the market. The response time remains around 26 milliseconds from when the remote is activated until the dropper post begins to move.

The 225 Transfer Neo uses the same FOX Neo wireless remote, with an ergonomics very similar to that of a traditional mechanical remote, and is compatible with a 22.2 mm clamp, as well as with MatchMaker and I-Spec EV systems. The remote is powered by a CR2032 battery, with an estimated lifespan of nearly a year.
The main battery of the dropper post offers between 30 and 40 hours of use, charges via a small included USB-C charger, and is part of the Fox Bike App ecosystem, from which users can check usage data, battery status, or activate specific modes such as transport or bike park.
For now, the 225 mm Transfer Neo is only available in Factory finish, with the characteristic Kashima coating on the inner tube. The price is 1,319 EUR including the dropper post, wireless remote, battery, charger, cable, and all remote clamp options.
FOX has not yet announced Performance versions or other finishes for this new travel option.
With this expansion to 225 mm, the Transfer Neo adapts to a larger number of cyclists and reinforces its position in high-end trail, enduro, and e-MTB.
