New Canyon Inflite CFR 2024: the myth is renewed
Mathieu Van der Poel and Puck Pieterse's weapons are ready for the upcoming cyclocross campaign with the renewal of the Inflite CFR, the perfect ally to race on the mud of the winter specialty circuits and whose new version improves what is necessary to continue winning the same titles as its predecessor.
The spectacular Canyon Inflite gets a revamp to keep on winning
With five World Championships to its credit and a distinctive design that makes it unique, the bike on which Mathieu van der Poel and Puck Pieterse ride in every race to impose their law on the cyclocross circuits is now being revamped to adopt the latest technologies of the brand and remain competitive.
The new Inflite maintains a similar design to its predecessor with the characteristic top tube design that, on the one hand, is as horizontal as possible to leave the maximum gap in the front triangle and, on the other hand, with its characteristic angle that then extends towards the stays, makes it easier to load the bike on the shoulder by bringing that support point forward, thus balancing the weight when it is time to carry the bike.

In addition, this design means that the seatpost clamp height can be lowered so that the VCLS seatpost also has more air in the seatpost that can flex, which translates into more damping capacity.
Among the new features, as with almost all bikes on the market, we find the ubiquitous internal cable routing which, together with the incorporation of an integrated set of handlebar stems, manages to significantly improve the aerodynamics of the bike. This is always a welcome gain, especially at the speed at which these animals ride in a race.
The new cockpit, as is the case with the road models, is adjustable in width with a 40 mm range, and it is possible to vary its height by 15 mm.
Canyon wanted to make this real mud-eating machine available to everyone and it will be available in three frame levels: CFR, SLX and SL with setups starting at €3,999 for its most basic, but fully competitive version up to €7,499 for the top-of-the-range version, practically identical to the one Mathieu van der Poel will be riding.
