New Canyon Aeroad CFR Tokyo limited edition
Inspired by manga comics, Canyon breaks away from its usual sober decorations by creating an eye-catching version of its fastest road bike, the Aeroad CFR, with the bright and flashy colors usual in Japanese animations and a great dynamism that will delight lovers of Japanese culture.
Canyon Aeroad CFR: from manga comics to the road
The trend of brands to create limited edition designs that make their creations unique and very special products is increasingly catching on in almost all brands. Even in some brands that are not very prone to these excesses, such as Canyon, whose designs have always been characterized by sobriety, from which they have only occasionally left to develop customizations for some of their best cyclists.
In fact, until recently, these special editions were only available to professionals when celebrating milestones such as a world championship or a jersey in a grand tour. However, little by little, manufacturers are now daring to offer these editions for sale, in limited editions, which make these bikes very special pieces.

The latest to hit the market is this Tokyo Edition in which Canyon has been inspired by manga comics, undoubtedly one of the most international manifestations of Japanese culture, in a brightly colored design that transmits all the dynamism of these publications to a bike like the Aeroad CFR, which is already the fastest in the Koblenz-based company's catalog.
Otherwise, the Aeroad CFR Tokyo Edition differs little from the machine with which Mathieu Van der Poel won in Milan-San Remo or Paris Roubaix, in a model also equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, high profile 62 mm DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut wheels or the aerodynamic CP0018 handlebar set, easily adjustable in height and width.
The presentation of this machine, on the streets of Tokyo, featured the Japanese trials cyclist Tomomi Nishikubo, who showed some of his tricks on the streets of the Japanese capital, which were captured in a small manga.
A bike that is already available on the Canyon website for an interesting price of 9,499 €, very attractive considering the top of the range setup, the very special design and the comparison with other top of the range bikes currently on the market.
