The most iconic wheels of Campagnolo, with the permission of the mythical Shamal, the Bora arrive in this 2024 at 30 years in the market, an anniversary that the brand celebrates with a renovation that implies a better aerodynamics in addition to continuing to be extremely light and with that exquisite rolling that only a Campagnolo Bora has.
More lightness and better aerodynamics enhance the performance of the Campagnolo Bora WTO and Bora Ultra WTO
Cyclists looking for maximum performance can continue to trust the excellence that Campagnolo has traditionally shown in wheel manufacturing. One of their flagship models, the Campagnolo Bora, reach their 30th birthday giving themselves a renovation in which the brand has taken the opportunity to improve even more their excellent qualities.
This new generation of Campagnolo Bora WTO have received a redesign of their rim, built using the brand's H.U.L.C. molding system, handcrafted and with which the precise balance between carbon and resin is achieved. The result is noticeable on the scale, with a reduction of 135 g per rim. Of course, they follow the current trend of greater width that raises up to 23 mm the width of their throat, which allows mounting larger balloon tires without any problem. What does not change is the characteristic G3 spoke system that groups, as its name already allows us to guess, the spokes in groups of 3 to give the wheels maximum stiffness and better force transfer.
These Campagnolo Bora WTO will be available in standard and Ultra versions, a denomination that identifies the top-of-the-range models of Campagnolo. The latter have 7 groups of 3 spokes, while the standard ones are radiated with 8 groups. For their part, the Bora Ultra WTO have the exquisite CULT bearings and a rear hub in whose body carbon fiber is also used.
In any case, both models will be available in profiles of 35, 34 and 60 mm and, as is now usual, only in disc brake option. Obviously, such exquisite wheels have a price according to the exclusivity they represent, being the price of the Campagnolo Bora WTO of 2,590 € and the Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO of 3,690 €.
