New BH RS1, the most versatile now is also faster and integrated
The BH mid-range is updated with a new generation of its RS1, a bike designed for the large mass of cyclists looking for a machine that gives them satisfaction on a wide variety of terrains while offering a comfortable performance without sacrificing certain sporting qualities inherited directly from the knowledge that the Alava brand has been acquiring with the developments of its Aerolight and Ultralight.
For everyone and everything, this is the new BH RS1
Traditionally, in the world of road cycling, those looking for a new bike have focused on the same competition models used by professionals. However, few consider that these bikes are usually quite demanding machines that require an aggressive position, where comfort takes a back seat to stiffness, and their handling requires a certain skill that many do not possess.
Fortunately, brands like BH continue to consider the everyday cyclist with models like this BH RS1, which arrives renewed in the Vitorian brand's catalog. An update that aims to achieve a versatile and, above all, comfortable bike, both in terms of absorption and postural comfort.

This new BH RS1 is a completely new bike built on the Performance Carbon Layout carbon base with which BH is able to achieve an optimal balance between lightness, comfort, and stiffness. A frame built using the HCIM (Hollow Core Internal Moldin) manufacturing system with which BH seeks maximum material compaction to favor rigidity and weight.
A carbon layup that prioritizes absorption to maximize comfort, which also originates from a very accessible geometry for the majority of users with a higher front end. However, these geometric modifications only affect the position since, in terms of how the bike handles, we still find an aggressive steering and short chainstays that allow for handling very similar to its competition siblings.
As expected, this BH RS1 features fully integrated cabling from end to end, for which the brand relies on the FSA ACR system, a brand with which BH has maintained a long-standing collaboration in equipping its bicycles. Also integrated is the seatpost clamp, which becomes internal wedge type. A seatpost that acquires aerodynamic lines and is designed to integrate a rear light that attaches to it through magnetic attachment.
And speaking of integration, we cannot forget a classic feature in BH bikes since the popularization of disc brakes, such as their thru-axles with the lever cleverly hidden inside them.
Like most modern bikes, aerodynamics are also taken into account in this BH RS1, which features truncated Kamm Tail profiles in its tubes, sections directly inherited from its older sister Aerolight. Additionally, the aerodynamics of the fork are improved, separating it as much as possible from the wheel to minimize the interaction of the turbulence it generates when moving with the airflow surrounding the structure of the fork itself. A redesign that has the collateral effect of being able to accommodate tires up to 32 mm.
