New BH Lynx SLS: efficient and light like a hardtail, traction and control like a full suspension
The new BH Lynx SLS is one of the big releases of this year and although we have been seeing it in competition for months now, it is officially joining the brand's catalog. This short-travel full suspension bike is presented as the evolution of high-end hardtails, and the truth is that it doesn't compromise on anything.

- Double suspension frame with a weight of 1,520 g
- Split Pivot rear suspension system

BH Lynx SLS: a true full suspension with the best of a hardtail
BH's ambitious goal with the Lynx SLS was to combine the best of a hardtail in a full suspension mountain bike, and that undoubtedly had to start with achieving a competitive weight.

For this, the BH Lynx SLS frame has been designed with the most stylish and polished shapes by the brand to date, using all the available technology at BH. From the use of their EVO Carbon Layup, with a combination of Toray T1100G and T800 carbon, to the application of their HCIM (Hollow Core Internal Molding) construction process that has resulted in a frame where its carbon parts weigh only 1,200 grams, very close to the weight of a conventional hardtail frame. The complete frame weight is only 1,520 grams. One of the lightest in the world among full suspension models.
The BH Lynx SLS has 80 mm of rear travel but, contrary to what its tight weight might suggest, it has not given up the Split Pivot rear suspension system.
This BH proprietary system has received only good reviews thanks to its exceptional pedaling and suspension management. For this, the frame has real pivot points, with bearings in all its joints. And in the Lynx SLS, the oversized 1-inch main axle that we have already seen in the Lynx Race has been implemented. This provides exceptional rigidity and translates into total power transfer efficiency and greater precision in technical sections.
The brand assures that minimalism has been the main pattern in the design of the BH Lynx SLS. And this is reflected in its lines. The shock absorber, semi-integrated in the top tube, offers a clean look while allowing the use of a double bottle cage in all sizes.
Despite that integrated aesthetic, the BH Lynx SLS uses a conventional shock absorber with all the advantages that come with it.
BH has always shown a progressive geometry in their mountain bikes, and the BH Lynx SLS combines the best of hardtails, with exceptionally short chainstays considering it can accommodate 2.4" tires and a wide reach along with a relaxed head angle. This combination offers the climbing agility of a hardtail and the descending confidence and security of a full suspension. The BH Lynx SLS comes equipped with 110 mm travel forks as standard.
In addition, the BH Lynx SLS features many of the latest advances that BH has developed for other models, such as the complete internal cable routing ICR system from the handlebar, the Blocklock by Acros steering lock system, UDH dropout, or the integrated FIT tool in the fork tube.
