New ABUS Airbreaker 2.0: more ventilated, lightweight and aerodynamic
The German brand ABUS has officially presented the new Airbreaker 2.0, an evolution of its most iconic road helmet, which now integrates a completely redesigned ventilation system and an innovative carbon Aero Blade to improve aerodynamic performance. This model is inspired by the design of the GameChanger 2.0, but maintains a focus on the lightweight, ventilation, and comfort that are highly valued in high-performance cycling.
New Abus Airbreaker 2.0: carbon to cut through the wind
The big innovation of the Airbreaker 2.0 is the incorporation of an injected carbon blade (Aero Blade) at the back of the helmet. According to ABUS, this piece acts as an aerodynamic spoiler, improving air circulation at different speeds and reducing turbulence. Additionally, it increases the structural rigidity of the helmet and its impact resistance.

The ventilation system has also been completely revamped. The honeycomb panel design from the previous model is gone, and seven deep air channels have been introduced, including new openings over the eyebrows that better channel airflow along the bottom of the head. These improvements, along with the ActiCage internal structure adjustment, promise increased ventilation even at low speeds.
