New 3T Strada Italia, an all road Made in Italy

3T continues to expand the range of models produced in its factory in Bergamo with the renewal of its Strada. The 3T Strada Italia, like its predecessor, combines sportiness, excellent aerodynamics, as well as excellent comfort and a great all-road capability with the possibility of mounting tires up to 35 mm.

3T Strada Italia, the most versatile bike from the Italian brand

3T continues with its policy of incorporating the production of its entire range into products manufactured in the factory that the brand has in Bergamo. This time it's the turn of the Strada model, which, like previous models that have been produced in Italian lands, adopts the Italia surname, joining its gravel models Racemax Italia, Racemax Boost Italia, and Extrema Italia.

In any case, 3T continues to keep in its catalog the version of the Strada that we already knew, manufactured in Asian lands, just like it happens with its Exploro gravel models.

Regarding this 3T Strada Italia, it is worth mentioning that it maintains the main lines of its predecessor in which aerodynamics and comfort go hand in hand. In fact, the profiles of its tubes are optimized to achieve the best wind penetration with tires between 30 and 35 mm.

For its production, 3T continues to use the RTM or Resin Transfer Molding system, on which it has acquired tremendous expertise to gradually improve the performance of bikes built in this way. A system that you will remember for being the one that the French brand Time also used in its day, in which carbon fiber is woven directly from the thread of this material before moving on to the mold where the necessary resin is injected for its curing.

Returning to aerodynamics, it is worth mentioning that, as in every current bike model, cable routing is completely internal, with a cockpit consisting of separate stem and handlebar to allow for easier adaptation to the cyclist's measurements than with integrated models.

From a technical standpoint, the use of a UHD derailleur hanger stands out, which integrates into the wheel axle itself, to achieve greater robustness as well as being a system that is increasingly popular and aims to eliminate specific derailleur hangers for each frame model.
