Mondraker launches its own XCO team with powerful signings and Sergio Mantecón at the helm
Mondraker has just announced the creation of its own XCO competition team. The Mondraker Factory Racing XC has just been presented with a new structure directly dependent on the manufacturer and with a powerful lineup that includes Mona Mittewallner, Nadir Colledani, Sebastian Fini, Alex García, and Tamara Wiedman.
Mondraker doubles down with the Mondraker Factory Racing XC
This is one of the most important news of the season as it represents the arrival of a new team to the World Cup capable of fighting for the top positions. After the disappearance of the Primaflor Mondraker Racing Team, Mondraker has decided, as it already does in DH, to take the reins of its own project and bet on a factory XCO team managed directly by them.
There is still little information about the team, but we already know that the Spanish Sergio Mantecón, who announced his retirement from competition a few days ago, will be in charge of leading it and that it will have a truly luxurious lineup.
Once again, we find a well-balanced group of cyclists led by the current XCO World Champion Mona Mitterwallner. At 23 years old, the Austrian already knows what it's like to win in the elite XCO World Cup and for 2025 she will combine the MTB season with road cycling with Human Powered Health Cycling.

A few years ago my father and I talked about how cool the Mondraker bikes looked and now I'm sitting here, training and competing on one. Super excited to join Mondraker Factory Racing XC and be part of this project that I am allowed to be a part of. Mitterwallner said on her social media
The Italian Nadir Colledani and the Danish Sebastian Fini, both with great performances in the World Cup, will bring experience to the team, while the Spanish Alex García and the Austrian Tamara Wiedman will bring young talent with a great potential for growth.
The manufacturer Mondraker has always been linked to competition and with this new and powerful Mondraker Factory Racing XC, it reaffirms its commitment to high performance.
