MAAP and GreenEDGE present the new 2026 kit: revamped Aurora design and more WorldTour technology
The Australian brand MAAP and the GreenEDGE Cycling structure have officially presented the kit that the Jayco-AlUla, Liv AlUla Jayco, and Hagens Berman Jayco teams will wear during the 2026 season. The announcement marks the second year of technical collaboration between both brands, following a successful joint debut in 2025.
MAAP and GreenEDGE present the new 2026 jersey: renewed Aurora design and more technology for the WorldTour
The new jersey maintains the recognizable Aurora color, which became the team's identity last season, but introduces a new flame motif, adding more character and personality to one of the most recognizable outfits in the professional peloton. MAAP and GreenEDGE emphasize that the design is not just an aesthetic exercise, but a statement of intent to compete at the highest level while redefining the image of professional cycling.

The alliance comes after a particularly notable 2025 season, with stage victories in both the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia, the Vuelta a España, and the Tour de France Femmes, where the team's new visual language had a significant media impact.

The launch of the 2026 kit is not limited to a new visual appearance. Over the past twelve months, MAAP has worked closely with GreenEDGE riders to introduce new technical improvements. Following the debut in 2025 of the AARTERO Flyte fabric, which is only 20 microns thick and offers significant aerodynamic and thermal regulation benefits, the brand has continued to evolve this platform.

For 2026, the competition outfit has been refined with different race scenarios in mind. The lightweight competition speedsuit represents the next evolution of the AARTERO Flyte system, with improvements in both aerodynamics and thermal control for high-intensity efforts and extreme heat conditions. The time trial speedsuit has been optimized for sustained efforts at high speeds, with refinements in fabrics and construction that provide measurable aerodynamic gains and better cooling for the cyclist. Completing the system is the Elements Pro Race Jacket, a low-profile jacket designed to protect against wind and rain without compromising breathability, intended for use during races when conditions worsen.

Craig Coetsee, the lead designer at MAAP, summarizes the project's goal: to increase speed without compromising the rider's comfort, with each garment tailored to very specific race situations and validated at the highest WorldTour level.
The new MAAP x GreenEDGE kit will officially debut at the Tour Down Under, the Australian event that will take place starting January 16, 2026, and serves as a "home" race for both MAAP and GreenEDGE. Additionally, a collection for fans is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.
