Just a few days before the start of the Absa Cape Epic 2024, Danish rider Sebastian Fini has just unveiled his bike for this special race. It will be the 20th anniversary of the event and Fini will form an unusual pair with Nino Schurter, and their bikes will match. This is the special edition of the LAPIERRE XR that Fini will ride.

This spectacular Lapierre XR of Sebastian Fini will match Nino Schurter's Spark — Against a black background, an aesthetic based on colors and geometric shapes reminiscent of the palette of tones we could see in the South African savannah stands out.

This is one of the least expected pairs in recent years, but the 10-time world champion Nino Schurter and Danish rider Sebastian Fini will team up for the Absa Cape Epic 2024. Behind this union is a much greater reason than sports, as both will be the flagship pair of the World Bicycle Relief Foundation. A foundation that allocates its resources to try to change the lives of people and communities through bicycles.

Although Nino Schurter's bike has not been officially presented yet, we have already seen it in some social media images and can confirm that for the first time a SCOTT Spark and a LAPIERRE XR will be painted to match for a race.

Both bikes will be raffled off at the end of the Cape Epic

Additionally, as part of the action with World Bicycle Relief, this customized Lapierre XR and Nino Schurter's Scott Spark will be raffled off at the end of the event along with the cyclists' kits.
