In the last race in Val di Sole, Victor Koretzky finished in 24th place, a position much lower than what the current XCO World Cup overall leader is used to. But now it all makes sense.
The World Cup organization has announced that Koretzky will not start in Crans Montana due to a fall he suffered last week and a Covid infection from which he is still recovering.

XCO overall leader Victor Koretzky is out of the Crans-Montana World Cup. After an accident last week and still battling the end of the COVID illness, Victor will take this week to focus on recovery. And with big absences like Jolanda Neff, who is focusing on the Olympics, we could see a change in the overall standings this weekend.
