The Canyon CLLCTV Factory XC Team has just unveiled their star signing for 2025: Olympic champion Jenny Rissveds. She is one of the best XCO cyclists of the last decade and her talent has allowed her to reinvent herself several times over the years, now joining a new Canyon team that has also strengthened with young talents.

How to improve in cycling when you have little time
Jenny's story is a pure inspiration as she went from winning gold at the Rio Olympics to retiring from the sport and returning years later to compete with her own team and win again. In that time, she has built a legacy as one of the most exciting riders on the XC circuit. In races, she is known for her explosive power, precise bike control, and unwavering determination, making Jenny one of the most complete cyclists on the circuit.
At 30 years old, this cyclist from Falun, Sweden, boasts an enviable record that includes the gold medal in Rio in 2016, numerous national championships, a U23 world title, and, after a two-year break, victories in the XCO and XCC World Cup from 2019 to today.
This is how Jenny expressed herself during the presentation:
“Joining Canyon CLLCTV is a great opportunity for me. I have been riding for a long time, but I feel like I still have a lot to learn and many ways to improve. I am really excited for this journey and to see how we can learn and improve together. I am very happy for this new chapter in my career”.
Young talents strengthen the Canyon team
During the team presentation, they also welcomed two emerging stars, Valentina Corvi and Noa Filippi. Both represent the next generation of talent in MTB.
Valentina is the current Italian U23 champion and combines XC with cyclocross. Meanwhile, French talent Noa already has multiple youth titles in XCO/XCC and is ready to compete against the best in the world in his first year as a junior.
The Canyon team for 2025 seems to balance experience and talent well with the continuity of German Luca Schwarzbauer and his explosive pace, Frenchman Thomas Griot, and Spanish U23 star Thibaut François.
“This lineup meets all the requirements”, Sébastien added. “With the leadership of Jenny and Luca, the energy of Thomas and Thibaut, and the fresh fire of Valentina and Noa, we are ready for an incredible season. 2025 will be epic”.
