Oscar Delaite shatters the world record for wheeling: 150.4 km on one wheel
During 6 hours and 30 minutes, Delaite completed 752 laps around the 200-meter oval of a covered velodrome, maintaining balance on one wheel at an average speed of 23.1 km/h.
“I finally achieved my goal. After a year of preparation, I did the longest wheelie in history: 150 km in 6 hours and 31 minutes, without stopping”, declared Delaite himself after the challenge. “It was tough, very long... but it was worth it. Mission accomplished”.

He previously set the record himself in 2023, leaving the mark to beat at 100.5 km. Something he has far exceeded on this occasion. In addition, Delaite set another Guinness record in 2024 by completing the longest wheelie with one hand, with a time of 1 hour, 46 minutes, and 36 seconds.

To ensure official homologation, the attempt had to be made on an approved and perfectly regulated track, without external interferences such as wind or inclines. That's why he chose the covered velodrome in Vittel, which offered the ideal conditions of stability and safety.

As for the equipment, Delaite used a rigid bicycle from his sponsor Rose Bikes, equipped with high-volume slick tires, perfect for riding on the track. The most striking part of the setup was the downward-angled saddle, adapted to the extreme body position required to maintain the wheelie for hours.
With the 2025 record, Delaite achieves a historic hat-trick: three consecutive years breaking world records on one wheel. And he doesn't seem to have any intention of stopping.
“This is just the beginning,” he has stated on his social media, where he shares his training and upcoming challenges.
