Hutchinson unveils FlashAir, its new pocket-sized electric pump for road, gravel and MTB
Electric mini pumps continue to gain ground among cyclist accessories, and Hutchinson has just added a new option to its catalog. It's called FlashAir and features a pocket-sized format, a weight of only 130 grams, and an automatic inflation system that allows you to select the desired pressure. It has a price of 69.99 euros.
Hutchinson FlashAir, a well-designed pocket electric pump
Portable electric pumps are becoming an increasingly common alternative to manual mini pumps and CO₂ cartridges. Their main advantage is that they allow you to restore tire pressure effortlessly, and in models with a digital manometer, you can adjust the inflation quite precisely.
Hutchinson joins this trend with the new FlashAir, an electric pump measuring just 71 × 45 × 32 mm and weighing 130 grams, dimensions that make it easy to carry in a jersey pocket or a small saddlebag.

Despite its size, it offers a maximum pressure of 120 PSI (8.2 bars), sufficient to meet the inflation needs of road, gravel, and MTB tires.
One of its main features is the digital display, which simultaneously shows the current tire pressure and the target pressure we have selected. You just need to set the desired value and start it for the pump to automatically stop when it reaches that pressure.
This system is particularly interesting for those who use low pressures and want to maintain consistent values in their tires, something increasingly common in both MTB and gravel.
Rechargeable battery, LED lighting, and overheating protection
The FlashAir includes a 7.4 V and 300 mAh lithium battery, rechargeable via USB-C. An LED indicator allows you to check the available charge level, although Hutchinson does not specify how many tires it can inflate with a full charge.
It also features a small integrated LED light, designed to facilitate nighttime repairs or work in low-light conditions.
Another interesting detail is its thermal protection system. If the internal temperature rises too much during prolonged use, the pump automatically interrupts inflation and displays the warning "HOT" on the screen. Additionally, it shuts off after three minutes of inactivity to prevent unnecessary battery consumption.

The pump is compatible with Presta and Schrader valves thanks to the included adapters. It also comes with a needle for inflating balls and a small extension tube.
Hutchinson delivers the FlashAir with a silicone cover that protects the device from impacts and improves grip, as well as the USB-C cable, adapters, flexible tube, and a transport strap.
Price and availability
The new Hutchinson FlashAir has a recommended price of 69.99 euros, a figure that places it in one of the most competitive segments of the electric mini pump market.
Its combination of digital display, automatic shut-off, and compact format positions it as an alternative to traditional inflation systems, especially for those looking to carry a single device to adjust pressures before heading out and to fix a flat during the ride.
All information about the model is available on the official Hutchinson website.
