Keller and Guerrini win the OKK Bike Revolution in Engelberg
The Engelberg event was the second stop of the OKK Bike Revolution, the most prestigious Swiss competition internationally, featuring some of the best Swiss cyclists such as Nino Schurter, Lars Forster, Alessandra Keller, and Linda Indergand.
All eyes were on Nino Schurter and Lars Forster in the men's race, but it was Marcel Guerrini (Bixs Performance Race Team) who showed that his third place in the previous World Cup in Nove Mesto was no fluke.

The race took place on a typical Swiss spring day with parts of the track completely muddy, making it tougher for both cyclists and mechanics. As soon as the green light came on, the 10-time world champion decided to take the lead, but Guerrini quickly caught up with Schurter and overtook him at the first opportunity.
Nino Schurter realized he couldn't keep up with his compatriot Guerrini and let him go solo, with no one able to follow. From the first lap, the script was the same, Marcel Guerrini in first position with a 30-second lead and a chasing trio behind consisting of Nino Schurter, Lars Forster, and Thimon Ruegg.
You could see from Nino Schurter's face that he wasn't having a good day, but he still showed the determination that characterizes him and held on in the chasing group until the last lap when he tried an attack that dropped Forster and in the final meters also Thimon Ruegg.
Finally, Marcel Guerrini crossed the finish line first with a 19-second lead over Nino Schurter and 21 over Thimon Ruegg, who completed the podium.
In the women's race, Alessandra Keller's superiority (Thomus Maxon) quickly made the race uneventful in terms of the victory. And she made sure it stayed that way until the end.
Keller won the race with over 2 minutes ahead of Seraina Leugger (Bixs Performance Race Team) and over 4 minutes ahead of Inda.
