Greg Minnaar leaves the Santa Cruz Syndicate after 16 years
The three-time DH World Champion, the last time in 2021 at 40 years old, is a living legend of this modality and many place him as the best of his generation. And although there is no doubt that he is near the end of his career, the truth is that few 42-year-old riders could choose which team to compete with next season. And that is precisely the decision that Minnaar has had to make in recent weeks.
The Santa Cruz Syndicate team posted an emotional video on their social media this afternoon, recalling some of Minnaar's best moments on what has been his team for the last 16 years.
