Full suspension and up to 1600 Wh of battery: the Focus AVENTURA² evolves into an all-purpose bike
Focus has just presented its AVENTURA², an electric trekking bike that evolves in both its rigid version and with the incorporation of a dual suspension. This new Focus aims to become a perfect bike for both daily use during the week and for getaways without sacrificing load capacity, autonomy, or ease of use.
Focus AVENTURA²: an e-trekking designed for everything, now also with dual suspension
As we mentioned, the significant leap within this new generation is marked by the AVENTURA² FS, a completely new version with rear suspension that expands the original concept. This variant adopts a low-step aluminum frame with a compact four-point kinematics that offers 100 mm of rear travel. It is a system designed to filter typical irregularities of real use, from urban cobblestones to poorly maintained trails.

The rear shock has been adapted to the real use of this bike and, in addition to offering a sensitive feel, allows pressure adjustment based on the weight of the rider and the load. Access is direct and is complemented by a guide via QR code on the frame itself. At the front, the air fork increases travel to 120 mm in this FS version, clearly raising the level of absorption compared to a conventional trekking bike.

Additionally, it features a dropper post with up to 150 mm of travel in the higher-end models, allowing the center of gravity to be lowered without letting go of the handlebars, something especially useful both in the city and off the pavement.

Load capacity and real use, one of the pillars of the concept
The entire AVENTURA² family is designed for everyday use. This translates into a structure approved for a total system weight of 150 kg, which includes the rider, bike, and luggage.
The rear rack adopts the MIK HD standard and allows transporting up to 27 kg in the rigid versions and 20 kg in the FS, with direct compatibility for child seats, panniers, or baskets. Additionally, the entire range is prepared for use with two-wheeled trailers via a specific axle.
In practice, this makes the AVENTURA² a valid bike for both urban commuting and loaded trips or family transport.

Accessible geometry and two types of frame
Focus maintains two aluminum frame configurations for its rigid version. On one hand, the classic diamond, aimed at those who prioritize rigidity and traditional aesthetics. On the other, the Wave low-step frame, which makes it easier to get on and off the bike, especially in urban use or with a load.
One of the key improvements is the integration of the battery into the down tube, with upward extraction in the Wave frames, which significantly simplifies handling in day-to-day use.
Bosch system with multiple configurations
The electric base relies on Bosch, with two differentiated platforms according to the level of the range:
- Bosch Performance Line with 75 Nm in the entry-level models
- Bosch Performance Line CX in the rest, with the possibility of reaching up to 100 Nm

Regarding batteries, the entire range allows choosing between 600 Wh and 800 Wh, even in size S. Additionally, there are two advanced options in the diamond frames:
- Bosch PowerMore 250 extender (250 Wh additional)
- DualBattery system, which allows reaching up to 1600 Wh in sizes M, L, and XL
The battery is fully integrated into the down tube and is removable for easy charging.
Equipment focused on comfort and safety
The AVENTURA² is presented as a bike ready to use from the first moment. It includes as standard:
- Aluminum fenders
- Silent kickstand
- Lighting system with up to 100 lux and high beam function in higher models
- Puncture-resistant tires
Additionally, details like the adjustable stem allow adapting the riding position, which is key in a bike designed for long hours of use.
In terms of braking, the most equipped models incorporate Shimano four-piston brakes and ABS system in the top-of-the-line version, improving control in challenging conditions.
