From May to October and with 9 rounds, this is how the calendar for the 2026 XCO World Cup is being built
Just a few days before the start of the second half of the 2025 season, the organization is already working on the calendar for the XCO World Cup next year. We have had access to the first draft and there are already quite a few changes anticipated for 2026.
First draft of the 2026 XCO calendar: nine rounds and a historic start in South Korea
The draft plans for the 2026 season to have a total of nine XCC/XCO rounds, compared to the ten that the 2025 calendar had. The start is scheduled for May 1-3 in PyeongChang (South Korea), in what will be the first time that the XCO World Cup visits this country. And the grand final would arrive on October 2-4, also outside of Europe, most likely in Canada.

After its start in South Korea, the World Cup will hold 6 rounds in Europe spread between May and August, before moving to the final block outside the continent. In addition, of the last 2 events, we already know that one will be at the new venue of Soldier Hollow, in Midway (Utah, USA), as announced by the organization.
