Fox Transfer NEO: the fastest wireless dropper post on the market
FOX has been developing dropper posts for over a decade, but now takes a giant leap with the introduction of its first electronic and wireless model. The Fox Transfer NEO aims to be at the forefront of the market and claims to be the fastest while also offering a strategic battery placement that provides more wheel clearance. It weighs 528g (30.9 mm x 100 mm) and its price is 1350€.
New dropper post Fox Transfer NEO
A few years ago, RockShox introduced its wireless electronic Reverb seatpost to the market, and it was obvious that FOX was a bit late to this point. However, the brand did not aim to match its competition; the goal of the new Fox Transfer NEO was to be the best option on the market, offering more travel, a lower battery position, more tire clearance, faster operation, and a more natural feel of the lever.
The fastest on the market
FOX claims that its Transfer NEO is the fastest dropper post on the market, 100 times faster than Bluetooth connection and 20 times faster than its closest competitor. FOX explains that they have eliminated all non-essential functions of this system in favor of speed, achieving a signal that reaches the seatpost at a speed superior to any wireless system in cycling.

Strategic battery position and ergonomic lever
The battery position in dropper posts can be very relevant in certain mountain bike frames, to the point that in some cases, with the rear shock fully compressed, it could touch the tire. To avoid this, FOX has designed its Transfer Neo in such a way that the battery position is right at the insertion point with the frame, as low as possible, and creates extra space with the shock.
As for the remote lever, it is a simple-looking piece with easy installation that promises very intuitive operation and a natural feel. It operates with a CR2032 battery with a one-year autonomy.
The control of the FOX Transfer Neo is complemented by the FOX mobile application, where users can control maintenance, update firmware, or activate special configurations, such as the bike park mode where the seatpost will be locked to prevent accidental raising.
